Boskoopse Huis Brouwerij Beers
Hans Schwirtz brews, sometimes with friend and family, in principle only four types of beer, however every 10th brew is an experiment, based on own ideas and recipes.-
The "standard" beers are:
- Boskoopse Oude Gespikkelde Kip - a Boskoop interpretation of Moorland's Old Speckled Hen
- Boskoops Winterboompje - a dark strong ale with juniper
- Boskoopse PUNKer - a more extreme version of Brew Dog's PUNK with a spicy twist
- Saison de Boskoop - a stong-tasting fresh saison
- Boskoopse Smeulende Kerstboom - (Boskoop's Smoldering Christmas Tree) a rauchbier with pine tops
- Boskoopse Bramen Porter - (Boskoop's Black-Berry Porter) a full Porter with black-berries from own garden
- Boskoops Bodengraven Bier - a recipy from the book "De Verloren Bieren van Nederland" from Roel Mulder, Bodengraven Brown Stout, adjusted to the modern brew-ingredients and with "scharlei" from own Boskoops' garden
- Boskoops Glory-eus - an Ale with the famous blue Boskoops' grapes from own garden, Boskoop Glory
- Boskoopse Vlierige Blonde - a Blonde with fresh, self-picked Elder-flower from the neighbourhood
- Boskoopse Emmer-tarwe Mei-Bock - a light Mei-Bock with Emmer-wheat (40%) and wheat only - a fresh drink!
-
Up to now, the experimental beers are:
- Boskoopse Bijen Barley Wine - a Barley Wine with Boskoops' honey and a "touch of wood"
- Boskoops Stout op zijn Grieks - a Stout with Masiha/Masticha from Griekenland
- Boskoops Appeltje voor de dorst - an own interpretation of De Molen's Juicy Loesie - a strong barley-wine with apple-juice and oak-wood/calvados
- Boskoopse Weense Wals - a Vienna with a top yeast
- The Dark Side Of The PUNKer - a BIPA wirth cold-steeped dark maltsn
- Barrel Project #1 - an experiment barrel-aged with Brett-yeast. Patience is here the most important ingredient!
