Boskoopse Smeulende Kerstboom
Every tenth brew becomes an experimental beer, brewed from own recipe. The Boskoopse Smeulende Kerstboom (Boskoop's Smoldering Christmas Tree) is the first "decenial beer" and is a Rauchbeer with pine tops. This beer has a very peety taste, combined with the smell of pine tops. It is almost like walking through a pine forest, but then one which is pretty much on fire! The combination of a royal serving smoked barley and an even more royal serving of pine tops make this a beer to enjoy for a long time.
It has been brewed again in 2019 and 2023, using an EasyBrew30 brew kettle.
Recommended drinking temperature: 8...12 oC
