Boskoop Glory-eus

The most well-known Dutch grape race for in home gardens is the blue Boskoop Glory. After a long and hot Summer there were enough home-grown grapes to make a beer; not a beer from grapes, however a beer with grapes!

Steeping-schemea: 1st steeping step: 60 minutes with 21 liter Boskoop's water (7.0ml lactic acid en 1.0gr CaCl2) of 64oC at 62oC
2nd steeping step: 30 minutes at 72oC
In 10 minutes heated to 78oC
10 minutes rest at 78oC
Stir every 15 min. during 1st steeping step
Rinsed with 4.5l liter Boskoop's water (non-treated) at 80oC
Fermentation: First fermentation of 9-14 days
Second fermentation of 3-12 days
